My name’s Krystal. I am a Certified Fitness Nutrition Coach, mom of two girls, wife and allergen free food blogger at Natural Fit Foodie

 

I help teach people like you how to ditch the foods which are making you sick, tired and fat so that you can look and feel amazing!

 

Sometimes I have to pinch myself because it’s so hard to imagine that not so long ago… I was exhausted, couldn’t think straight, full of flatulence and carried 15 pounds of ‘baby’ weight.

 

This is the story of my journey and it starts all the way back in 2013…

I was frustrated with my health and knew that something wasn’t quite right, but I didn’t know exactly what. I just knew that I wanted to feel better.

When the conventional medical system was unable to ‘diagnose’ me I decided to really take charge of my own health. Google became my new best friend. I was up late into the night googling solutions to my nagging health complaints. When I stumbled upon the book ‘In Defense of Food’ by Michael Pollan I read it from cover to cover in one day. It changed my life! That was the beginning of my journey. I switched to a real, whole foods diet. I exercised regularly and tried to manage my stress.

I was making progress but not as much as I had hoped.

My joints still ached, my brain was still foggy and worst of all, I still was not rid of my baby belly! I had a very healthy diet so where was my transformation? I felt confused, angry and scared.

Transformation

My AHA moment came a couple years into my journey when I would learn that the very healthy foods I was eating were making my body inflamed. What I didn’t realise was that eating healthy food and eating the RIGHT foods for me are two different things. Eating a delicious tomato and mozzarella salad helped my best friend feel great, but when I eat it, I feel fatigued, my eczema breaks out and my tummy is so bloated I look a few months pregnant 🙁

Healthy foods like eggs, tomatoes and shellfish were literally making me sick and fat!

My mission

Since uncovering my personal diet code my body has transformed. I lost the baby weight that my body was holding onto for 6 years almost effortlessly AND when I gave birth to my second baby at age 38 I snapped back to my pre pregnancy IDEAL weight within a couple weeks postpartum. I threw out my shapewear because guess what I finally had a naturally ‘sucked in’ tummy. My energy levels are through the roof and my skin and hair are thriving. 

I became a Certified Fitness Nutrition Coach so I could work with men and women just like myself who probably think there’s no hope, because even though they’re eating right they’re still plagued by digestive discomfort, brain fog and exhaustion.

It is my mission to help others figure out their perfect diet because when you truly understand on a daily basis what foods fuel YOUR body you can confidently say no to

  • pills
  • counting points & calories
  • fad diets
  • all the eat this not that to lose weight gimmicks
  • band aid remedies that only treat symptoms and never get to the root cause of your issues

You will have a tailored diet you can enjoy for life.

The truth is most people have no idea how great their bodies are designed to feel. Once upon a time I was one of them.

Bio individuality

Just think about the time, effort not to mention the financial and emotional sacrifices it takes to start a new diet. You think OMG do I have to give up gluten forever… but what about bread eeek! You’re determined to succeed so you clean out your pantry and throw out all foods on the ‘NO’ list. Months later you gain weight, on the very same diet your coworker lost 20 pounds. The sooner you realise there isn’t a magic bullet or one size fits all diet the better off you’ll be.
